I had my students sitting around me as I was teaching them an absolutely fabulous math lesson. We'd been talking about probability, taking turns drawing marbles from a bag, talking about likelihood, and basically all of that great probability stuff. Almost through our discussion, I asked a question and several students raised their hands. I saw one particular student with his hand raised and was hopeful because I thought he hadn't been paying attention at all. I called on him to which he answered, "You painted your toenails!"
Not quite the answer I was looking for.
Apparently I can't wear open-toed shoes now or nylons. Who knew they'd be such distractions?!
