Student: Can I sing you my song for my talent show at church tonight?
Me: Sure!
Student proceeds to grab the class microphone, and she loudly starts singing--in a very cute and dramatic fashion--Bruno Mars' song Grenade. The whole entire thing. On key. It was SO. STINKING. CUTE. That and the fact that all her little friends joined in as backup dancers.
There is never a dull moment in third grade. Not even at recess.
