I had a student sharpen her finger.
Yep, just like it sounds. Pencil sharpers and fingers don't go well together.
As I was helping her, she went white as a sheet, and said she didn't feel well. I had to sit her down and get the garbage. Don't worry, I think she'll come out of it just fine, but she may have a scar or two to show for it.
Apparently my many, many talks about leaving the cover on the pencil sharpener and not touching it didn't sink in.
I wonder what else isn't sinking in. *sigh*
